Hey there, we're Irene & Rickard, husband and wife Iceland elopement photographer team - Nerdy with music, books, series and films, like Harry Potter, Witcher, Sherlock, and Kung Fu Panda.

We are travelers, adventurers, with a firm belief that life is lived once and should be lived truly and fully.

We work with people who are nerdy about something like Harry Potter, or Energy and holistic health, or marketing and entrepreneurship, or plants and gardening, or cars...doesn't really matter what you are passionate about, just that you are a decent and easygoing emphatetic couple that are passionate/ or interested about something ;)

We take each elopement wedding very seriously, treating it as if it were our own. It’s important for us to make sure that we vibe well together, so we all will feel comfortable and have fun. On your elopement journey, we’ll be more than just your photographers – we’ll be your friends, and if you want, your witnesses. On your day, we’ll rejoice with you, dry your tears, and even have snacks and bars ready when you feel hungry.

Having worked as a freelance journalist we bring a unique storytelling photojournalistic approach to your elopement. Capturing candid moments and telling stories through pictures and documenting details, which is very important because those photographs will be your memories for the rest of your lives, and which will allow you to relive your elopement when watching the pictures even when you are old and grey. We offer a blend of photojournalistic style and posed with promts so it will feel comfortable and natural for you, so that we can create the most artful double exposures, gifs and light effects, for pictures that truly stand out.

Our versatile editing adapts to the moment and the place in which we are photographing, whether it's light and bright, darker, with strong colors, or classic black and white — adapted in an artistic way for what best conveys the emotions of the moment and the beauty of the places being photographed.
